Customer service is exceptional. When you work with them you know they care and will always get you the best results. You feel valued as a client, and not like just another number. "I been filing here for a couple of years already but unfortunately this place is not what it used to be! Last year I went in for a consultation and I told them to put my taxes on hold and I was going to get back to them, but they decided to submit my taxes without even notifying me or asking me. Now this year I schedule an appointment with Joseph like always for 2:00pm and I get there and wait. I wait for my appt for them to sit me down with another accountant so I tell her I’m supposed to be seeing Joseph so she tells me I’m just putting in your information he will be with you shortly. Then another lady walks in telling me he’s running behind with his appt but he’ll be with you shortly. The issue is I was never seen by Joseph they decided to have another tax consultant do my taxes. I make an appt ahead of time for you to give me the run around and decide to sit me down with one of your workers. Meanwhile I’m being charged $300 dollars for having my taxes filed the regular way where everywhere else they usually charge $100-$150. Is like this place pick and chooses who Joseph rather see instead of following the appointments he has booked. You don’t treat your clients like this! If I make an appointment and I have to pay $300 for this unprofessional service the least you can do is keep your appointment with the client that booked it. Another thing this is the only you file your taxes and you won’t get a copy the same day and if you request an additional copy you have to oh $50 dollars like give me a break. Everywhere else the same day you file you’re handed a copy of your taxes. Very disappointed!"

"J. Squared Services was absolutely fantastic with my tax return. The professionalism, kindness, and knowledge they have was great. I had a multi-state tax return, and struggled to figure out all the forms on H&R Block's online website. My family has long used J. Squared Services for their taxes, so I decided to go with them this year. BEST CHOICE EVER. I dropped off my tax forms ahead of my appointment. When I came in for my appointment a few days later, my return was already done. I knew exactly what I owed the government, and what I was getting back. They were able to explain the multi-state forms to me, and told me that if I get an income verification letter from both states, they handle it at no extra cost. I am now more informed about my taxes, what credits and deductions are available in the future, and my tax rate. Would 100% recommend to anyone. I'll never use a do-it-yourself tax website again, I'm always going to J.Squared! **Addition added on 8/25/2022: I genuinely cannot stress how great it is to work with J. Squared. I had an issue related to a previous tax return, that they didn't even prepare. It was an issue related to the do-it-yourself filing with H&R Block. They were able to guide me through the steps to make sure everything is correct and settled. I will ALWAYS use J. Squared for my taxes going forward!"
