"Got overcharged ($14) for a six pack, I didn't get a receipt but should have asked for it. Other reviews report the same overcharging. Either they are inflating their prices, or the employees are pocketing the difference, or they're plain competent. Neither option is good. Next time I'll just go to the liquor store that is one block over!"

"Absolutely rude. The worst customer service ever. The cashiers would barely speak to me when asked questions. They didn't even acknowledge my presence. I called to ask about the product before arriving and when I arrived and they were completely standoffish. I asked where the product was located in the store, one of the cashiers MUMBLED and pointed. I had to ask him to repeat himself which he did with eyes rolling. I usually go to Greenwich Wine and Spirits, but unfortunately they were out of stock. I will never ever ever spend another one of my hard earned dollars at this business."

"It's Tuesday night at 7:09, April 16th. I just left A-1 cellars after buying a half pint of Brandy, which costs $5.31. I handed the cashier a $20 bill. He gave me change for $10. I told him I gave him a $20 and he said no I gave him a $10. To "prove" that he held up a $10 bill. Really?? There were $20 bills in the drawer, too. I happen to know for sure I had a $20 because that's what I got out of the atm, which, by the way doesn't give out $10 bills. I think the owners should check their security camers because that guy is ripping off customers AND just cost A-1 Cellars a regular customer."
