"Absolutely superb wine store, with a well-curated selection, and a friendly and knowledgeable staff. There is a very good chance that they have the wine (or spirit for that matter) that you are looking for, and if not they are generally happy to order it for you. I can not recommend them enough if you are in the Greenwich/Stamford area, especially if you have a day on the Ave, and want to head back onto 95 it is very convenient to pop into Winewise and grab something."

"Wine Wise is a very convenient wine shop in downtown Greenwich, next to Whole Foods. Steve, the owner, is very knowledgeable about wine. And he's entertaining both when talking about wine and as a musician. He's an all-around cool guy, and worth catching him if you can. Their selection is great. I usually just give them a vague idea of what I'm looking for, and then go with whatever they recommend. It's worked for me, because I haven't been disappointed yet."

"This is a great find in Greenwich! The store has amazing bottles from lower priced to the highest. They don't overstock with junk--they seem to really carefully choose the wines. The employees are welcoming and know their stock really well.. This place is great to get some wine you know, but also try some you don't...I have really learned about some new amazing wine based on their recommendations!"

"A solid liquor store with a decent selection, was able to find the ever elusive creme yvette violet liquor here. Strange that the wine and liquor are separated by a dividing wall throughout the store. Decent to slightly high pricing depending on what you are looking for. An obvious choice for Whole Foods shoppers."
