"First time in store to get 20 bottles of wine for giveaways. Was not looking for an expensive wine. Employee made me feel uncomfortable as he made me feel like I was being cheap. At the register payed for the wine and found out they do not do gift bags, which is the real reason for the three stars. Not sure if that’s just their policy, but I’ve always received gift bags at any other liquor store at holiday time."

"I am a regular shopper at Total Wine because of their wide selection, competitive prices and ease of purchasing. The staff is knowledgeable and very helpful if you need advice. The store offers free samplings and also has frequent wine/liquor tastings at a reasonable price to learn more about specific wine areas or alcoholic beverages. Most impressive was with my recent wine purchase, one of the bottles was corked. I wrote to customer care about it and within a few hours I received a response apologizing for the defective bottle and a full refund on my credit card for that bottle. Bravo!"
