Reviews
"Shopping at Stew Leonard's offers fresh, high-quality products, a unique and interactive store experience, excellent customer service, and a variety of local and organic options. However, this comes with higher prices compared to regular supermarkets. The store's selection is more limited, focusing mainly on perishables and fewer pantry staples. The unique layout can be crowded and overwhelming, especially during peak times. Additionally, Stew Leonard's locations are limited, primarily in the Northeastern U.S., which may not be convenient for everyone. The decision to shop here depends on individual priorities like quality versus price and product variety."
"Layout is great, takes you on a linear journey throughout the store. Plenty of little surprises along the way. Good prices and selection. Good amount of kosher certified products. Stuff shown isn’t kosher, but pretty."
"I love shopping at Stew's. The smells from one zone to another are amazing. Samples are yummy and you must get an ice cream cone and check out the animals outside for the full experience. It gets really crowded during holidays, especially the Pumpkin Patch and Christmas Shop, but both are worth visiting."
"Was shopping with family wanted to do the save 20 on order of 50 or more for curb side pick...but app is not working...expand to a Manger that doesn't want to give me his name ...it starts with a J...so I want to take a picture of his name he grabbed my phone from my hand...I grabbed it back and yelled at him to not touch my property...the he yelled at me to get out and that the register belongs to him..I told him a paying for my food...my card is in the machine...then he start getting close to my 10 year old son...I told him to step away from him...because this Manger has some Violent tendencies! Then he called Security on me and tells me to get the hell out..so women from Customer service desk to Security that he didn't touch me when he did. Like? She could see from where she's behind customer service.... Talk about a blatant lie.! We paid and leaving Being treated like we were thieves or violent offenders or even worse. I've been shopping there for over 15 years.! And I don't want to even explain how many times I've cheated from there... I'm wondering if this manager ever read the rule number one at the store.! I have never been more embarrassed by the people that are there the managers. And how? Your security team automatically thinks that they can attack us while we are walking away. I believe you have security cameras and you can see what happened very nasty stuff. The only person I feel sorry for is the poor girl that was working the register....! Talk about losing somebody's business in a hurry.!"
"If Disney and IKEA had a baby, it would be Stew Leonard’s. I’m from the west. We don’t have anything remotely close to this and we are missing out! A definite attraction. How often do you feel the urge to whip out your phone and take pictures at a grocery store?"
