"I recently had the opportunity to visit the new tasting room for an event. This room is luxurious and coziness and the interior is decorated after my own heart . Cove Ledge has designed a beautiful space for the community to gather, and not just for Alcohol. The back yard is also well maintained for pop-up events like music, art shows, and fundraisers. The owners Annette and Keith are heavily invested in giving back to their town, with a focus on education opportunities for Teens. We drive out of our way to be their patrons when buying hostess and thank you gifts, as well as when I need some advice on flavors. Their limited staff is as well versed in the products as the owners, always a familiar face ready to help. Their wine and whiskey selections are great, always local options available, and they have a magic cooling machine for beverages off the shelf. Worth mentioning: N/A spirits are available and recently CHEESE!"
"This is a great establishment with great owners and an awesome staff. Very knowledgeable about there products. If there is something that they don't carry they will try and get it for you."
"My husband and I purchased two beers and two shots at noon then were told at 6pm when we went back for one beer and two shots that they were cutting us off and they're "policy" is they can only sell to a person once a day. Seriously??? I can understand if someone is visibly intoxicated you don't sell them alcohol. I have worked at a liquor store personally, I know the rules. There was NO REASON for us to be turned away. Take my advice and go over the border into Westerly to get your booze. For the couple extra cents in gas you'll save a ton on aggravation, find a better selection and be treated with respect."
"Cove is great. They have a good selection for a small shop and the owners are fantastic people. Truly a great small business you should support. They run a scholarship fund ever year for a stonington highschool student. They bring in great local selections including a whiskey made just for them and not to mention a bottle of 10 yr. rip van winkle comes to them as well!"
"Came in with my dad. We were looking through the decent selection, but I was asked to leave so they could let other people into the store due to covid regulations. I explained that we were getting different orders, but they still insisted I leave and wait at the back of the line since we came in together. While I fully understand and support covid guidelines, this interaction seemed very silly considering we were planning on buying two different orders of wine. My best suggestion is to use logical reasoning when helping customers."
