"I bought shoes at 10 hazard avenue, enfield, ct. The staff was excellent and treated us so well. We live in new haven and bought it on our way to Vermount. I later tried the shoes for a while and found out they were hurting at toes so I had to return them. My husband went to 2100 Dixwell Ave #166 hamden, CT, 06514. First of all staff refused to return because the box was missing. We were within the time limit and everything else was fine. Then upon many requests she said she would try and then it worked in her system. IT HAD TO BECAUSE WHY NOT. Upon this, she objected that we paid in cash so she cant refund. Again on many requests, she asked us to go to factory outlet which is a good 45 minutes drive. Then she got to the point that she would refund as a gift card but WILL NOT RETURN THE TAX even on the gift card. Why do you get a store card when you present the receipt and every condition is fulfiled, and even then why would they keep the tax money? What is this rule but exploitation of taking advantage of costumers situations."
"Sub-par customer service, utterly rude employee. Brought a return with my receipt. The person processing the return had an enormous chip on her shoulder, and a scolding tone to boot. When I informed the employee that one pair of shoes I'd purchased was mis-marked as an 8 (they were the exact same size as the same pair in 8.5), her answer was, "Well what do you want me to do about it?" Went back later to look for replacements and was completely ignored until same employee hollered at me that they were closing in one minute. Don't recommend and won't go back. I get the impression that this person hates her job, and I sympathize, and wonder what's up with that store."
"Very disappointing experience, been a customer for years but seriously this store brings the worse I have seen. Almost nowhere to find a person to help, then finally when I found one was at their phone and annoyed that I asked a question. When I was ready to pay, only because I found something and did not want to drive to the next store, then realized there was another sales person sitting on the floor at one of the corners behind the register talking to the first one, and do not worry I get it, if you are on lunch or a quick break that's okay for me as long as you don't interrump on the other person's job, right? Anyhow, trying to pay and the same thing, can not give a proper answer about their own current sale and just giving an attitude because I was making sure I was not being overcharged, and guess what, I was; which they had to do a return and take the extra steps for it to make it right. Definitely not coming back."
"So these are the sneakers that I paid $60 for last week on 2/9/22. I went to go return them after wearing them for a day because the right shoe on the inseam was completely uncomfortable. I have worn Skechers for the last five years and never had to take them back before ever. Although, I did not have a receipt I did have my credit card receipt showing when I purchased them. I did not want my money returned I simply wanted to go get another pair of sneakers or even said just give me one sneaker to replace the one that is defective. I was told I could not return them because I wore them. He would not even look at my credit card receipt. Of course I wore them for a day how would I know that the inseam on the right shoe did not feel right if I didn’t? I strongly suggest you do not use this store at all they are selling defective products and then refusing to take them back and exchange them for an equal product. Included below are the pictures to show you just how worn they are. There is not a mark on them anywhere! I will never buy Skechers again and plan on letting everybody know my experience there."
"The store didn't have a single shoe out of place. I walked in with 2 children to purchase shoes. We were in the store for approximately 30 minutes. We weren't greeted. The sole employee was entirely focused on her tasks. Never once did she check in with us. After we tried about 7 pairs of shoes we left. We didn't get a goodbye or any acknowledgement that we were even there. The sole employee just continued stocking and working the wall she was focused on. I don't need someone to fawn over me but common courtesy is important. I won't be back."
