"I've been going to Sports Attic periodically since I was a kid, mostly for winter sports equipment. When kids grow out of everything from year to year, having a place where you can buy used equipment (often lightly used and sometimes even new) and resell equipment is a great option. We just went yesterday to get some ski equipment for my kids. It was my first time in the new location (no longer in an attic). They have a big selection of lacrosse gear, hockey gear, some baseball gear, lots of ice skates, rollerblades, roller skates, skis and boots, some poles, some snowboards, and more miscellaneous equipment. It's been a few years since I last went, and they have a much better selection of skis than they used to. They have a bigger selection for children than for adults, but they do have some adult equipment. The prices may be a bit higher than they used to be, but the quality of skis and selection have also improved. Depending on the skis and boots you choose, there's a good chance you can pay around what you would pay to rent skis/boots for the season at one of the shops in Westchester that provide rentals. Then if you sell the equipment back to the shop once the kids grow out of it, you'll almost definitely come out ahead. There is also some equipment available that is higher quality than what you get from a typical rental. Buying at Sports Attic has another benefit: Once one kid grows out of the skis/boots, we hold onto them until the next one grows into them! Thank you for providing a great service!"

"Pretty good selection considering how small the place is. They have literally turned an attic into a store. Just about any sport your kid plays, equipment can be found here. Great for inexpensive second hand sporting equipment. They also buy and do trade ins. Very helpful and interesting store to check out ."

Went in to Sports Attic and got EVERYTHING he needed to start at fraction the cost. They had multiple options for skates, helmets, and shoulders- the three most expensive items- which was great."

"Drove here today from Cos Cob, CT because I thought they may have old style cross country equipment. It's tough to find, and they had some. I bought a pair of 1980's cross country ski boots for my old cross 75 mm 3 pin bindings. A nice find! This place is a gold mine! Great selection of used sporting goods. Everything from baseball gloves, bats, downhill skiis and ski boots, lacrosse sticks (also pads and helmets), figure skates and hockey skates. There is a huge selection to choose from. Eddie, one of the owners, went out of his way to help me and was super friendly. Highly recommended if you have kids and need sports equipment. Very reasonable prices, and great quality stuff!"
