They periodically offer "specials" that include deep discounts on such items as cinnamon, vanilla and spice blends. They sell some items in bulk and offer boxes and jars to create targeted gifts for the cooks on your gift list. And gift cards work in the store as well as for online orders."

"Great place to add spice to your life, and food. My favorite Mediterranean spice is Za'atar, on Naan bread with olive oil and broiled /browned for a minute...worth a try if you don't know it. I also tried and like very much Penzey's "BBQ 3000". I was given a gift from Penzey Spices and love it, a variety pack."

"Chuck made this first time visit of mine amazing. He was very knowledgeable about the products and even how to use them. Penzeys is good if u just need a lil bit of something for a recipe. So u don’t have to buy the big “one size” they carry in the grocery store. This store doesn’t deal with a middle man ie:supermarkets, so the herbs and spices are fresher. The gift box options they have are awesome for gift giving. I think they will even mail it for you. Everyone is getting seasonings for Christmas this year. Lol.
