"I went to my cousins wedding here and in the end we all helped clean the place so that she could receive her security deposit. However, my cousin was informed she was not eligible for deposit because some chairs were not put up against the wall when someone from the venue themselves placed them elsewhere and said it was fine to leave them there. If he had not said it was fine we would have gladly put them against the wall! I think they are being very unfair it’s giving racist vibes!!!"
"We were at a wedding there recently and when we helped our family clean up, we noticed a camera in the ceiling. This means we were being recorded the whole time our event took place. Not right at all especially if we weren’t given any notice. Very Sketchy"
"A few days after my brothers wedding, I texted Laurie about our security deposit and she now says I am not eligible to receive it because the tables and chairs were not put away. First of all, the man that gave us access to the venue told us to move the chairs into the kitchen and he himself moved some outside due to limited space. He also moved chairs into the restrooms. He also said it was OK to keep the chairs there. He told my dad it was OK to keep a table on top of another in the kitchen. The fridge in the venue wasn’t working either! So they had to give us a cooler for our drinks. This is not ok and our security deposit was $150 and that is not ok to keep for not moving chairs and tables. She has stopped responding to my messages because she knows she is not being fair. No good. Please don’t rent here."
"Clean place and good size for any occasion. Bar downstairs is exclusive to veterans that served over seas, but were welcoming and down to earth for party members from upstairs. Shout out to bartender Steven for making even us brown folks feel comfortable (apologies if wrong spelling). Chill vibe."
"I encourage all veterans to resign from the VFW at once. A racist KKK member is in charge of this location, the national chapter is unwilling to act. I didn't serve overseas to see racists ruin this country from the inside."
