"Everything was going well until the bartender literally pulled my shirt and unbuttoned it because he told me I tried to rip him off... I heard him tell me it was 28$ for the drinks but he really said 38$ I told him there was no need for that I totally mis heard him due to all the music in the club... I told him it's not a way to treat people... I eventually paid him 38$ but he definitely shouldn't have act the way he did... he literally assaulted me and told me I tried to rob him... He was Caucasian btw... Overall I think he was just overwhelmed by the crowd and the amount of people ordering for drinks.... But he literally treated me like a criminal smh...."
"I had the unfortunate displeasure of visiting this club, and the experience was nothing short of dreadful. The security staff were not only inefficient but also shockingly rude. A place that should be about enjoyment and entertainment was completely overshadowed by the unprofessionalism of its security team. I would tell you right now to run far away from this place but you might not might make it out because you will literally get trampled with the amount of people in this space."
"Overall, we had a great time, but we had a very negative encounter in the bathroom with someone who may or may not be an employee. I tried to bring my female friend into the men’s restroom to use a stall, but pretty quickly a man who was stationed by the sink started to yell at her to leave and wait in the long women’s bathroom line, even after we said it was an emergency. He tried to physically intimidate us and eventually we left the bathroom for fear that he might get violent. Again, we don’t know if this guys works at Blue. But even if he doesn’t it’s the job of the club to make sure random people like that don’t threaten their customers."
"Worst bouncers ever, they were so rude. We were waiting for an Uber in the main area and one of the bouncers kept asking my husband to go wait outside and how long is the Uber going to take. They basically kicked us out even though we told them we were leaving and then he called another bouncer to intimidate us. It’s disgusting that bouncers can act like this"
"Hey Blue Midtown, the reason why the Tamil people at the Tamil party tonight didn't understand your bouncers screaming at them is because we are harmless nerds who don't always frequent places where every crevice needs to get checked. People only showed up because that's where the community event was happening, and we were legitimately just confused or out of practice ( I'm nearly 40 and had to quantum leap back 15 years to remember what I was supposed to do to enter a venue like yours), but some of your bouncers were responding so aggressively instead of just explaining. People just didn't understand what the expectations were but one of your bouncers took it to a racist scary aggressive extreme at 3am yelling about what was wrong with EVERYONE at this party and what everyone's problem is tonight. He interpreted a man's genuine innocent confusion as disobedience that necessitated aggression to get him in line. Why did he have that unconscious bias that made him misinterpret what was happening that way? Because of his racism. He said "all of you" instead of "you people" but he meant the same thing. For your information, this was a first in a lifetime event for many members of a race that has recently experienced genocide. We had events 5 nights this week and every other venue treated us with respect and joy. I'm a 39 year old American and this week was the first time I had ever experienced events with other people from my community in this country. Every other venue made it feel amazing and life changing. Blue certainly didn't."
