"The store is overall fine but just dealt with the most annoying store associate I’ve ever experienced. She bugged everyone entering the store around 9pm about getting out by 10pm as soon as they entered the store, reminded them every 10 min to hurry up, then walked around other cashiers to pry into the items they were buying and commented on them. She told me cat litter is too expensive and said my cat better eating mice to earn his keep. lol smh…"
"Store is a continuous disaster. The self-checkout area is in the back and if you have any problem, no employees ever respond. If you have scanned your Prime account during checkout, then you can't simply change machines or walk away because it keeps the session open allowing anyone to walk up and charge your card-on-file for whatever they want to purchase. Not that most of the customers are even bothering to purchase because the way the store is set up is conducive to shoplifters and the I have seen people just pick up stuff and walk out the back door. Overall a very poorly managed Amazon Fresh Store. Plus the parking lot is always full because people park for 2 or more hours and walk off to nearby retail or to the the subway station, with no enforcement. Three times over the last two weeks, I left without ever entering the store because I could not park."
"I really don't understand how Amazon can get grocery so bad. So, right off the bat, most of the prices are higher than local grocery stores like Giant or Harris Teeter. They won't do Amazon trade-ins, you have to take those to Whole Foods. I brought a manufacturers coupon for a free item and they wouldn't honor it at register, told me to go to a manager, the store manager didn't know what to do and a regional management team was there and one of them offered to take it and then give me half it's value, which I think is illegal, as they get reimbursed the full value from the manufacturer. This is a block from my Mom's house, so I still go in sometimes just for a quick trip, but half the time the stuff I want isn't in stock. So, unless you have one of their $10 off $50 coupons, don't even bother. Oh, except for the 89cent French bread loaf, that's pretty great."
"Cool shopping experience. Used a cart that is logged in to your Amazon Prime account and has built in scanners and scale. No line to check out; just grab paper bags of you didn't bring your own. Simple,"
"Clean, modern, and organized with few problems. Due to not being shopped heavily, meat and fresh vegetables are old. Employees look bored, and I’m not impressed with how they trained or handled the task. I do like the cart."
