"Doesn't have anything worth buying in there. Signs outsi don't mean what they have cause they don't go there"
"Neighborhood convenience store. Make sure you get there 8:00 a.m. for fresh Portuguese rolls. Owner is very kind and helpful. Very polite"
"I've been going to Grillos Market for almost 30 years..They are the best people that work there. They have everything you need in just one stop. Paying bills, stamps, receiving merchandise orders on line, & lotto. They are so great at multi tasking! Never worry if crowded.. they get you.in & out! Must see for yourself. Like I said, its the kindness of the owner & employees that keeps me going back to the best market in West Haven! K.P."
"Very convenient and mostly friendly people, the only thing I can say guys is that you need to be a little more patient with your customers because sometimes it's hard to understand each other when you're speaking to different languages which I don't mind I just know that I hope you understand what I'm saying and it wouldn't hurt to put a smile on but still love the store, Mrs grillo is very lovely and nice that that neighborhood store saved just like that and little neighborhood store where you know everybody and everybody knows you"
"Some of the food is expired so check the dates, mostly the stuff in the deli that sits there for days also some of the cakes I've bought. I bought milk there twice that when I poured it in my coffee it started floating chunks. They don't even wear masks to protect their customers. Don't wash their hands or wear gloves to cut deli meats and cheese. They really need to step up their game. Store needs an upgrade, it reminds me of the early 2000's when I used to work at a rundown corner store sweeping when I was 10. I go there everyday only for soda, if I need food, yes cvs is rather expensive, but they're always on point. The cans there don't have dust on em. It hurts my wallet but quality is always better than quantity."
