"Curtis did our taxes this year and we were told that we would be getting much more money than we actually received. After asking why, Curtis has been ignoring us and not responding. He also cannot give a clear explanation of where he made an error. In my opinion, when you pay for a service it should be provided. Curtis has been doing our taxes for years but we will no longer be using him or H and R Block. There is no professionalism and I am very disappointed."

"Give a 0 if I could. Was always a fan of hr block, returning customer for numerous years. Have been dealing with Deb for quite some time now. Everything was always smooth sailing, you type numbers in a program and that’s it, not too hard, but then an issue occurred. She was rude, we argued and even hung up on me when all she had to do was something so simple. She was legit not trying to help me, giving me excuses that made no sense, not answering my questions, giving me numbers to robots and not putting any effort forward at all. I legit was breaking things down to her like a little child. I was shorted my refund, FROM HR BLOCK not the IRS. How can you not have answers, you are hr block. How can you not know how to find the answer or where to send me to get the answers. According to an agent I spoke to in Corp, the answer I was looking for was something she DAMN WELL should’ve told me FIRST phone call rather than buttering her bagel. Hr block at the end of the day are careless and only care about the pool of tax money they bring into their branch. The lady I spoke to in corp was very upset with her and started a complaint before I even asked. Her boss was just as bad as she was. If you have a simple return stay away from expensive hr block. You signing the forms makes you liable for their errors if any are made, for damn near 300$ and I’m still liable lol they crazy. You can go to a local CPA firm for that price and have a real accountant do your work. Father warned me about them years ago, said once there’s an issue their true colors will show and they were far from green. Careless unprofessionals at the end of the day! Deb-you need to grow up and stop being lazy, a glorified typer is all you are, don’t ever get an attitude with any Client of yours and learn how to get answers for your clients if they have questions, if you can’t get answers then you need to provide help in some way. Is this how hr block (as a company) works when there’s an issue? If you give someone a 5 star review what happens if you meet someone who is better? Don’t just give a 5 because things were done, that’s a 3 lol!"
