"The food is good, but not excellent. I expected more considering the price. Their oysters were average. The service was particularly good. I think you will have a hard time beating that anywhere in Boston, but you could get a better meal for cheaper at many other restaurants in the area."
"My wife and I were invited to this place as a gift for our 40th wedding anniversary, and our friends celebrated their 32nd anniversary. The four-course meals were delicious. The dessert came with a surprise on the plate. It was written A Happy Anniversary note on the plate, which was an excellent detail for the four of us. The meals looked too small at first, but in the end, it was more than enough—plenty of food. The price was worth it."
"Attended a private party in the beautiful side room. Appetizers were excellent. Servers took dinner orders from our party of 20 choosing from a reduced menu agreed to ahead of time by our hosts. After 10 minutes the servers came back to announce that one of the main course items wasn't available, and those who ordered it needed to choose another item or a substitute. The substitute was poorly cooked when served. The red wine that had been agreed upon ahead of time ran out halfway through the main course, so those drinking red switched to a new option (new glasses, natch) mid-course. The ending cheese plate looked like it had been tossed on the tray, and contained an unidentified cheese that looked like blue but was cranberry infused cheese - a palate shocker. If I had been dining alone and experienced this I would have chocked it up to a bad night and not reviewed. Since a friend had planned this dinner for months with the restaurant this was something else. I suspect my friend still paid the agreed upon cost and gratuities. Yikes."
"Great place for a nice date. The food presentation and service were top notch. We ordered the tasting menu. I was impressed with the artistic presentation. I was a bit disappointed in the flavors/composition of some dishes. The focus on aesthetic design became a little chaotic at times, and distracted from creating cohesive, well-balanced flavor combinations. I was hoping for knockouts given the pricing. But nevertheless, it was a lovely experience and I’d recommend it for a fancy evening out."
"I experienced the chef’s tasting menu with a friend on Friday night and it was by far the best restaurant experience I have ever had. Everything was absolutely delicious. If Boston had Michelin stars, No.9 Park would absolutely be Michelin star worthy. We had oysters, salmon, prawn with black pasta (my favorite), wagyu, and more, plus wonderful wine pairings. All the staff & servers were awesome as well - Rebecca the manager checked in with us frequently. Excuse my poor photography but I remembered to capture a couple dishes. HIGHLY recommend!!!"
