Hummock Island

"This was my second and my husbands third time experiencing the oyster tour at Hummock Island and we have enjoyed it every time! The wooden oystering boat trip to the island is always fun and the history of the island and it’s oystering, which is presented to you when you arrive at the island, is fascinating. The oysters are as fresh as can be and plentiful. Due to unforeseen circumstances, we had to move one of our tours which they happily did for us."

"My husband and I have lived here for 27 years. Most a blur. Our kids are grown and we are able to discover so many things we like about the state - this Oyster Tour being one of them. This little happy excursion on a perfect September night was great - a short boat ride, a taste of local history, a lot of high end oysters and some fab gin (its BYOB). This really was fun and our group of 4 is expanding to make it a real outing with a big group next year. It was nice to see Westport from a different perspective - even if it only was a few yards offshore:)"

"Hosted a private tour for my birthday and had an amazing time. From the minute we booked, Jeff was very communicative and happy to answer all our questions and concerns. The house is rustic but beautiful and provides a scenic background. We were able to bring our own food, cake and wine. Beth was a great teacher showing us how to shuck and teaching us about oysters. All our guests enjoyed the experience and everyone commented on how fresh the oysters were. We will definitely come back again!"
