"My wife went here two days ago to purchase a lock for our storage unit. She was told she could return it if it didn't work out. Unfortunately the shackle was too long so we went there today to return it. We were told that because the top quarter of the cardboard and plastic package was cut off (how else do you get through that thick plastic?) They would not accept the return because it did not have it's original packaging. It was cut off already, there was no way to put it back together for a proper sales display. Needless to say this cheap trick will cost them our future patronage."

"Terrible customer service at the ace hardware. (Can't comment on the paint store in the back.) I dropped by at 5:45 PM. Apparently, this is a big no-no. I was met at the front by an unfriendly store employee, his only words: "you better get what you need because we're closing" rather than any semblance of a normal greeting. Unfortunately this wasn't the first time I've been treated this way here. Next time I'll be sure to arrive a half hour earlier to be more accommodating . . or, maybe I'll just go to the Lowe's or Home Depot instead."

"Horrible, I purchased a outdoor shed online. I wasn't aware that you can't return it to a local store, anyway after finally fussing to drop it off, they took 168.00 for delivery. I will never buy again from them, I have purchased stuff from several companies, and you are able to drop off returns with full refund. I learn the hard way, never again! Home depot next time"
