"Placed an order. Attempted to call that day. No answer. Called the next day no answer. I got a missed call and voicemail. I call back within the minute and ignored. I leave a voicemail asking for a call back. The owner doesn't call back. I make another attempt. They pick-up! Owner states "oh I was trying to get you on the delivery today". I explained how I called back , left voicemails. I explained communication with his company has been challenging. He responds "okay I'll cancel your order". And then, Hangs up. Be careful. Poorly managed. Communication not a priority. I will be looking elsewhere. Stay away!"

"Blakeslee Farm is simply wonderful. They are ALWAYS stocked, even during supply shortages and supply delivery delays the owner will help you find something that will work for you. They keep their prices so low that it's hard to imagine how they turn a profit. The owner cares more about his customers than making a dollar, he often delivers to the more remote locations in CT, late in the evening, while the rest of us are eating dinner or winding down our day. He makes deliveries where his profits don't even cover the cost of the trip because he cares about his customers. Great guy, great business, great farm, and it's all a part of our community, not a faceless corporation. If there's ever a problem, or you just want talk for a bit, the owner is right there and genuinely happy to see you. I cannot recommend Blakeslee Farm highly enough."
