"The man who purchased the Higganum Feed Store should have kept the original name. The store had been in business for over 100 years under the same name. I beg to differ about the feed store being a "dump" and that it's employees could be related to those who work at an "inner city auto shop". People enjoyed going to the Higganum Feed Store because it had character and they found it a unique store. It was a place where you felt you were among friends. Since the drug store, the country market and the feed store have changed hands the area is very lacking."
"The old 'Higganum Feed' was a dump and the people working the same sort you'd encounter at an inner city auto shop. The place is under new management which clearly takes pride in the appearance of the place and the gentleman behind the counter is friendly and helpful. Give it a try and you'll see for yourself. And no, no interest in the place, couldn't tell you the owners name."
