"Very pleasant preserve, well marked and easy to follow"
"We love Westmoreland for it’s beautiful grounds and hiking trails, its fabulous programs and camps, and amazing staff! We have used them to help us with Cub Scout requirements and even had a naturist- led night hike for my sons birthday there, which was a unique and incredible experience! We hope to attend more of their seasonal events as well.. definitely check them out!"
"A great place to hike. They have different trail segments that are interconnected and at each location there is a map that lets you see where you are. There are also HOME signs that let you know how to return to the parking lot."
"This place is my sanctuary! I have lived in NYC for 5 years and have explored many of the local preserves and this is one of my favorites mostly because the are no dogs allowed so you don't see dog poop everywhere like at Arthur Butler which is across the street. They also have a lot of great programs for both adult and kids and a nice little display in their main building."
"This place is gorgeous! We came in fall in mid October just in time to see the fall foliage and it is spectacular here. Beautiful high and low paths that are color coded and fairly easy to follow. Some of the terrain is suited for experienced or mildly experienced hikers and the up hill slopes can get a little brutal but its definitely worth the trek to get to the high points. Amazing views and very tranquil. We didn't run into to many people along our hike. The park has its own parking lot and also its own park offices that have a nice clean restroom and also recycling for water bottles. Very well kept."
