Lush Nails

"CONS: Horrible service, way too expensive, and my nails barely lasted two weeks. They charged me almost $200 for THIS, not even including pedicure. You can tell they don’t care about the satisfaction of their clients, they only care about the money. They add a ton of things to your nails without telling you and then when it’s time to pay, they give you a crazy price. I told one of the nail techs “you did not even tell me you were adding all this I just asked for simple, and she just stayed quiet”. You can tell they do not thoroughly clean the work area or equipment. The amount of tip they demand is also insane. PROS: I like the design on my nails(but they barely lasted and I do not even do anything too hands on to say I was the reason they did not last). I like the shape also (but they charge you extra for almond shape which in the other salon I go to, they don’t). I will just stick to my go to nail salon from now on… I think you should too."

"I had a fill done a week ago. One chipped, surprised so early especially since they usually last much longer but was grateful to be able to make an appointment today to get it fixed. When I arrived there was some confusion since I could not recall who had done my nails previously. The technician was doing her own nails and seemed annoyed she had to stop to repair my nail. Then instead of filling the chip and then repainting the technician filed the nail and then painted over the chip. When I asked her if she was going to fill the chip she said no, it was just the paint that was chipped, this should be fine. I said that no, the hard gel itself was chipped and I could see and feel the nail below. She proceeded to finish the process despite my questions. I was charged $5 for three coats of paint, where as in the past I was not charged unless the nail itself was being repaired (I.e. a tip, actual fill, etc.)"

"This salon was the best in the area and for years I highly recommended it but in the last couple of years it has gone downhill. I started using lush as a last resort instead of a go to and now I will not even be doing that. I called ahead and asked for acrylic removal and sns powder when I got there the first woman I spoke to kept trying to convince me to get a fill in which I did not like, when I moved to the table with my tech she informed me it would be extra to remove my acrylics which was fine but then proceeded to remove them with a METRO CARD. Not only did it hurt but she broke multiple of my nails I asked her why she was using this method instead of soaking off or another option and she had no real answer for me. I asked why I was paying extra for removal when this is what she was doing. Not professional at all and I had to laugh when for the last nail she used the drill. Was that not an option the whole time? I could've ripped my nails off at home and got a better result. Very disappointing. I even debated with myself not paying because it came out bad however in the end I'll simply not give them business and definitely not my recommendation anymore."

"Absolutely perfect UV gel set by Lina! Even thought it was quite busy on Mother’s Day I was able to get seated right away. Loved the attention to detail and the cleanliness of the salon. Will definitely be back!"

"I have been coming here for months and Lynn takes good care of me. Today was exhausting to say say the least. I requested dipping powder and round shape for my nails. I had to request even nails since I did not see him attempt to make all my nails even. I then requested a nail design and asked for suggestions to which Lynn replies my nail is too short to get a design. I was the only black woman in the salon and felt uncomfortable and discriminated against due to my race. I addressed that I was not satisfied with the service n did not pay for these nails. Everyone should be treated equally regardless of RACE!"
