"Thank God for the girl who does massages. She’s amazing. As for my nails, they are horrendous. The owner, May tried to fix them but the damage was already done. I would have had her give me a new set but I couldn’t be there another minute. I paid an extra $5 for changing the shape of my nails. Every nail is a different shape and size. Im so embarrassed.I knew I should have listened to my daughter who told me not to get my nails done at a place we don’t know. I was in dire need to do them and couldn’t wait until we were back home. Big mistake in my part, now I have ugly nails that instantly catch your eye. I have no other choice then so redo this mess asap."
"So against my better judgment, I went to get a pedicure with the regular nail polish. Tiffany did it. After I got out in the sun I could see it was a messy job. AnyWho.! 3 weeks prior to that I want to see my podiatrist a regular every 9 weeks visit. After Tiffany did my pedicure about a week later my toes are really bothering me so I made an appointment, went back to my podiatrist. I have toe fungus. Mind you 3 weeks prior. I saw him & didn’t have it. What’s interesting is I’ve had a girl come to my home for the last 3 years to do my pedicure & gel nails. She worked in the salon in Norwalk from 9 AM to 7 PM and only made $90 a day.. I met her at a salon I used to go to, and I suggested that she start her own business. I have all my own supplies foot bath, nail polish, gel polish, & dip. I have everything. Like I said against my better judgment, I went with a friend there and got a foot fungus. What’s concerning is I googled can a fungus be transferred by nail polish. YES! Do you think they care? instruments are not sterilized they don’t know the difference between sanitize and sterilize or they just don’t care. I had to go back-and-forth with them. It’s all about money.! my podiatrist warn me before about going to a nail salon. He stated that he has many patients with foot fungus caused by Nail Salon. Norwalk Health Department get on your job.. totally unacceptable! Never ever again. It’s really concerning because hepatitis and HIV are transferred by instruments, not sterilize properly. If you have to use a nail salon. Use them for polishing only and bring your own polish. Don’t let them use their instruments bring your own instruments. Be safe people it’s not worth it."
"RUN AWAY! Terrible customer service!!! Ladies were laughing at my sisters toes! And we asked for them to put Acrylic. They said $5 each we said sure Ofcourse just make them pretty and even. My sister wanted her toes to be on point. She had couple of nails fall off bc of medical issues. My point is they were arguing amongst themselves and then they didn’t even finish the job correctly or do the massage in the leg like everywhere else. This was just terrible. Money was not a object we wanted to get pampered and have beautiful nails. The picture says it all. The two big toes and the ring toe. Just terrible. Please don’t go here!!!"
"I had the worst experience here. I booked for a refill on acrylic nails and two were broken. The employee by the name of May barely spoke to me during the appointment and would shove and pull my hand when it was time to dry them. But she would talk and greet others to which she seemed to favor more. She was rushing SO MUCH and looking away from my nails that the nails burned and she also cut me. The nails looked outrageous. One nails was so far bent down and when I asked her to fix it, she rolled her eyes. If you're going to have a business treat every customer equally. I will not come back as I did not feel welcomed nor treated with respect. Update: the two nails she fixed broke 3 days later."
"Hi, 3 stars because they were nice folks. However, the nail application was done horribly. I came in here as a first time customer. Got the liquid gel on super SHORT nails (see images). Aside from the job being done horribly, they charged me $68 dollars for this? I was very offended because the lady barely used any product (especially since the length is close to my natural nail bed). I studied cosmetology in the past and I know for a fact the nail tech (Amy) did not use the right method for applying liquid gel. She didn’t even put on a base coat. Hence, the gel literally coming off the nails (as you can see on the images below). The gel color is literally peeling off. Long story short, after going in for a second time for them to fix the gel that peeled off.. my gel color literally keeps chipping. I can’t keep coming back in after the third time to get it fixed. I’m just never returning to this nail salon. It is so unfortunate. I am really upset because I feel like I got overcharged for a service that wasn’t well done. Never returning here ever again. Hope this helps prevent poor service on future clients! :("
