"This is my first time eating there today. The food is AMAZING. It was so good that I almost could not believe something could taste this good."

"I've never written a review until now, because well, the food was delicious and the service was 12/10. The food and service was well worth it! Food was plentiful, tasty, and cheap! My son loved his carne burrito and said that it was the best burrito he had ever eaten-he said he could taste the flavors in each bite. He also liked the fact that they toasted the outside of the burrito on the flattop, giving it a nice crunch. The carnitas in my El Bukis was moist and tender and tortillas they came with it were piping hot. The man who took our order (the owner?) was so friendly, he gave us tostados and a tamarind drink to try, on the house. We were visiting from NYC (where Mexican food is plentiful) and after this meal, my son and I were talking about driving the hour plus drive back to eat here again. It's clearly a small business, so we want to do our part to keep them going. If you're craving Mexican food, and in the Milford area or heading to New Haven, definitely put it on the top of your list. It is worth it."

"Owner Don Chava was extremely friendly and welcoming. We had Nachos, order of tacos of Carnitas, El Buki order and Torta. Aguas frescas of Horchata and Tamarido, very refreshing. This is authentic Mexican food! Carnitas are delicious just like the ones from Michoacán. Strongly recommended, every bite had an amazing flavor!"

"100% authentic Mexican tacos! Loved the variety of tacos, freshness and friendly service. Homemade horchata and consomé dipping sauce were both excellent as well! Prices are not as cheap as stated in previous reviews but decently priced for the portioned (see menu). Area nearby is not the best but great spot to drop in and take away."
