"We just ate dinner here. We usually love turkish cuisine but the food here was dry, hard to swallow and overall disgusting. The place has a very outdated energy. It doesn’t feel cozy at all. Overall for food for a Turkish restaurant and for Turkish restaurants in the tri state area this place gets an F. I would give this the lowest rating possible for food."
"Food: 1/5 Expectation of this place was off the Main Street location. Food was sub par, Falafel was doughy and nothing close to actual one. (was biting into dough) Missing the crispy texture and flavor. Mezze, was not made properly (again basing the expectation from Main Street location). Ambience: 3/5 Service: 5/5 Service was good, people helping with order were nice. Off-Street Parking."
"Eating here was a good life decision. I got takeout tonight because I've wanted to try this place, and it was absolutely delicious! I should preface this by saying I'm not a connessuer of Turkish food -- I think I've only had bits and pieces here and there. But I love the ingredients that go into it, so I figured I'd enjoy a number of the dishes. I wanted leftovers so I got an entre, small side of rice, and small mixed appetizer plate. It will probably be enough for 3 meals, but definitely 2! The mixed appetizer has 5 of their dips. I didn't want the hot pepper dip so I asked to substitute tzatziki, but they said it would be too runny but offered haydari instead, which is very similar. Everything was SO good! Nice variety of flavors. For the entree I got the chicken shish kebab with yogurt (plus small side of rice). The rice was okay, not bad, but just not what I'm accustomed to. In the entree, I didn't realize the "pieces of pita bread" meant they would be chopped up small and mixed into the sauce with the grilled chicken. But it was delicious! The sauce was so flavorful - I could really taste the pepper and garlic. I had a little of this and that from everything I ordered, so it was a really nice variety. Looking forward to dining in their cute space sometime and trying more dishes."
"This restaurant has a fantastic and tasty representation of the wonderful food the country of Turkey has to offer. My family and I have been here several times and each time is wonderful. From the attentive service to the delicious food we truly love eating here. I would highly recommend eating at this restaurant and tasting the lovely food Turkey has!"
"We had an okay experience here. We ordered a salted yogurt drink which was good. The falafels were our decent but the dip with it was amazing! And the zucchini pancakes were a huge disappointment. We were very much looking forward to that but were extremely disappointed. It was way too oily and all we could taste was oodles of oil. The other dish we ordered was steamed veggies which was supposed to have been tossed in spices but it was extremely bland. So overall it was just okay for us. The staff are friendly and the service was quick."
