Penny's Diner & Restaurant III

"I went there for breakfast. I ordered my usual omelette with mushrooms and cheese. That omelette was small. OK, the menu didn't state how many eggs there were in the omelette but I doubt they used even one (1) egg for my omelette. I have never understood why restaurants are so cheap on eggs. I'm buying 60 for $10. I think I should, at least, get 2 eggs in my omelette. What are we talking about, 18¢? Is it so expensive to add a second egg."

"Fine- only had Texas Toast French Toast & 2 eggs over easy. All was fine. 3 eggs over easy with home fries. Great eggs- home fries are always very mushy, cooked too long ago? The crepe pancake filled with apple compote was ok- the golden grape raisins are overpowering on the flavor - going to ask next time for no raisins. Friendly service. 12/1/22 Enjoyed an order of Blueberry Pancakes- Yum 4/30 Eggs and pancakes were delicious. Great service. 10/20 Very Good Prime Rib, Baked Potato, Carrots, Clam Chowder and the Service was genuinely friendly and efficient. Thank you!"

"Friendly Greek staff, fair prices and wholesome food. Several desserts on menu. Clean bathroom and ample parking on two sides of the restaurant. In the vestibule is a pay phone. The Fairfield County Libertarian Party regularly meets at this location."
