"I think from people's suggestions my expectations were a bit too high. The coconut shrimp was delicious probably my favorite part but the sweet and sour sauce with it not so much, The lobster bisque was also good. I've had better lobster rolls by far & service was good but nothing extraordinary. Overall I probably won't come back I can say I tried it once and happy for the experience!"

"There is small area of parking in front of the establishment. The service provided was upon walk-in order. Nothing to report. You order your food inside and seat yourself outside. The food was well worth it and the price was great. The fried shrimp and calm strips met all expectations."

"Finally got to Stowe’s and I will definitely be back. I had the fish tacos with cod but you can order them with any of the fresh fish of the day options they have. I also got the stuffed clam. My friend for the fried clam strip sandwich and the gumbo (not pictured). The portions are huge!! So much value for what you pay and the seafood is super fresh and everything was cooked really well."

"Perfect atmosphere right ght across from the water. They have all kinds of fun decorations on the patio. Get the hot lobster roll. "Market price" was $22. Another dollar gets you a small container of delicious cole slaw. The onion rings were a little boring. They could use some seasoning or salt. My friend ordered The Boat (fish and chips), which was a plentiful portion."

"We have been traveling to beach communities looking for our new home. West haven was the destination this week. Looking for water front home we stumbled upon this place. Nested on the corner directly across from the beach we found this quaint place. Its perfect for a bite to eat while heading to the beach. The restaurant is literally located across the street from the beach. The food was fresh, we ordered the tacos. Each order comes with three tacos we purchased the cod and shrimp tacos. The fish was so fresh and tasty I was very surprised. Mostly because the fish and shrimp were fried but the food was not greasy or oily. In fact it was the exact opposite light and tasty and did I mention fresh! While there is no table service for this location its definitely not necessary. This is a great place to grab a bite to eat and watch the waves. I loved the fisherman decor. Super cool for the location and food!"
