"The gentleman who manages this restaurant is top notch! We walked in for Saturday lunch and there were so many people in line, but he kept us well informed of exactly how long we would be waiting. It was obvious he had everything under control despite the chaos going on. After 10 mins, we got a table, were served promptly and the food was great. Super awesome experience on a busy Saturday afternoon."

"Was in the area and decided to eat here as they don't have one near me anymore. Overall it was a good experience. The peanut butter pancakes were good, the bacon was cooked well and was good quality as was the sausage patties. The cheese grits were a little watery but wasn't too bad. The scrambled eggs with cheese was the worse item. They were cooked way too hard and the cheese was barely melted. Definitely wouldn't order those again. The main issue i had was the prices. A little over $30 for the meal is just crazy."

"Chip’s is one of the go-to places in the New Haven area for breakfast. The place is pretty consistent for food quality and taste. Pancakes are always cooked perfectly and very tasty. Their scrambled eggs have a pleasantly unique taste to them. Staff is friendly and easy like the fact that the manager on duty usually comes by before you leave to see if you enjoyed your meal."

"This is definitely the nicest Chip’s location I’ve been to! My friends and I sat outside on the patio, and the staff was really nice about letting us switch to a different table when a bee wouldn’t leave us alone. The food came out quickly and was all delicious. I really love their pancakes and syrup! I would definitely come back for breakfast again!"
