"Top notch food, fresh and full or flavor! The cubana & hawaiana cemitas are delicious and so were the aguas frescas! Can't wait to come back!"
"My first time coming here for tacos, the birria tacos were amazing!!! I ate it in the parking lot, couldn’t wait… the onions made it even better. The pineapple drink was refreshing not too sweet. Cashier was helpful, sweet, and patient. This is my spot for tacos now:)"
"Just had food delivered. Tacos Al pastor and chorizo tacos. I couldn’t be more disappointed. I am Mexican and Spanish and know what tacos Al pastor taste like and look like and I know what chorizo taste like. The chorizo had no spice to it. It was like eating crumbled sausage that was marinated in a bland wanna-be Al pastor or birria sauce. Same for the al pastor adobo. The food I received had no semblance to the actual flavor the food should be. I wouldn’t order again."
"I stopped by yesterday after hearing about this place from my son. I ordered Tacos al Pastor to go. I put the tacos on the seat next to me in the car and drove back to Shelton to do some shopping. The smell coming from that bag with the tacos in it was incredible. I got to TJMaxx but the aroma was killing me. I couldn't wait until I got home to eat them, so I ate them in the car in the parking lot. LOL! The three tacos came with slices of lemon, a small container of both pico de gallo and salsa verde, and a pile of cilantro and chopped onion. I just loaded those tacos up with everything. The tacos were a bit messy to eat in the car but they tasted as good as they smelled. There was a hint of sweetness from small bits of pineapple. I found out as I was leaving the restaurant that they have horchata, and would have ordered a cup to go if I had known that. I haven't had horchata in decades and love the stuff. This restaurant is guaranteed authentic. I'll be back to try some of the other items on the menu after I research them to find out what they are. LOL! One thing I would suggest to the owner is to rearrange the booths and service station. The waitress had to keep coming back to the front to get utensils, napkins, etc. It's a very small place inside, I suppose the options for placing the booths are limited."
"Came with my family on a Sunday in August 2022. The food was delicious. They had salsa that was actually spicy which I found a big plus. They had chilaquiles which I’ve only ever eaten at home and it was really good. The Agua de Jamaica (iced hibiscus tea) was less sweet than I’m used to but not a big deal. However the constructive criticism I’d like to pass along is that the service is a little slow. I’d definitely come back!"
