The Russell - Grab and Go

"I recently ate at The West Hartford location and the food was lovely, so when my friend offered to bring food to me from the East Hartford location, I expected the food to be at least somewhat consistent to what I ate in West Hartford. I didn’t even have time to take a picture of it because I was so upset I threw the food in the garbage. This food was a (2/10) at best. At the West Hartford location when I asked for extra gravy, the chef loaded up my plate and gave me a side of gravy in a cup. (You can check out my google review with pictures, just search the West Hartford location) The server at this location completely ignored my request for extra gravy. I ordered rice and peas and curry chicken. The rice was extremely dry, and besides that the grain of rice used was the really corse bulky rice which doesn’t complement stews and sauces. The cabbage was plain and flavorless and the curry chicken was mediocre. Never again! The server also gave my friend attitude when she ordered. Usually that’s indication that the food will be bussin, but this here was trash."

"NASTY!!! I found a long gray hair in my food and when I went to complain they blocked my number everytime I call them. At first I thought it was meat fibers but it was actually an old person's hair in my food. Trying to call them and they actually blocked me. I ALSO want my money back for the food I ordered filled with gray hair"
