Anna's Restaurant & Pizza 1489 Silver Lane, East Hartford, CT 06118

"This is the third time we came here in four weeks. Damn good thing the pizza is good. Because the service sucks soooo bad. We almost walked out before our food came because we had waited so long. Oh, hey, want a refill on your soda? Good luck with that, too!!! Need napkins? Tough. Cream for your coffee? Whatever. Containers for your leftovers? Kick rocks. Each time we ate here, the service got worse. Finally, I had to post a negative review. BTW, the pizza is good, but it is not good enough to put up with this B.S. And the last "straw", the disgusting pie we brought home last night. It must have been expired. Had to be. No pie tastes so bad it has to be spit out. YUCK. Shame on you Anna's. And goodbye."

"We were promptly seated in a booth as we entered & ordered right away. It was less than 10 minutes from when we walked in the door to when we had our food on the table. The food was great complete with a few special requests like some sauteed onions with the home fries and some cheese in the scrambled eggs. The server was attentive and refilled our coffees regularly. All in all a great place to eat!"

"Been ordering from this restaurant for about 20 years and although the food has gotten increasingly worse, we continued to give them a chance. Today was the straw that broke the camel's back. We ordered wings, a large pizza and a chicken salad. The delivery came very fast and we soon determined why. The pizza was grossly undercooked and the salad looked as if it had been out for days. Chicken was old, dry, stringy, rubbery and bland, lettuce was very wilted and wet in places, and brown in others, and there were old, poisonous tasting mushrooms in there. We called back to voice our concerns and the first thing they said was, "well, no one else has ever complained ". I find that very hard to believe but regardless if no one else has, it's your job to listen to my complaint and work to make it better. They didn't. I will never patron this restaurant again and the food is sub par...worse than sub par, and Anna's Restaurant and Pizza of East Hartford should be ashamed of themselves. I do not recommend them to anyone. Find somewhere else to go and don't make the same mistake we did by spending our hard earned money to support this restaurant who does not care about the quality of their food, their customers and hence the community.
