"This is my daughter's favorite restaurant! We often visit other Wood-n-Tap restaurants but we have the best experience at Newington's. The staff is super friendly and attentive. For starters I always go to the Point Judith Calamari; it never disappoints. Their seasonal dishes are always of great taste and value while their drinks are always on point. I love the Dragon fruit Sangria and the Bourbons."

"Warm atmosphere. All employers are kind and make sure you feel welcomed. The food is always delicious ! This place has been our favorite for years. But now, recently the process have risen and the amount of food had gone down. Ex. When you order for a bowl of chili you would expect a whole bowl. A whole bowl is not what is served. It just cover the bottom of the bowl. I wouldn't mind prices going up if they kept serving the amount if food as they have always done in the past."

"Wood N Tap is a great place. The wife and I have been to several locations many times and it is certainly one of our go-to restaurants. It is a casual atmosphere with good drinks and an extensive menu offering many great food options. The menu changes seasonally, but there are certain items that remain... One of them being the Monster Nachos. They are delightful and even the half (small) order is huge and can be a meal in itself. There are lots of dining options; inside there is a bar and a ding area, but there is also outdoor dining which we enjoy when the weather is nice. I can't say enough good things about this place... Friendly, helpful staff, good drinks. Update (6/19/2020) - Went here tonight for the first time in a while and as usual, the food and the staff were awesome. I ordered a classic burger without the mustard & mayo, but the kitchen made a mistake. Well, my server/waiter (Jake) was extremely apologetic as was the manager (Paul). They took it back and it was remade to order. They too good care of me and as usual, I left here happily. I look forward to my next visit here... I gotta get the Monster Nachos! Update 2023; We continue to keep Wood N Tap heavy in the rotation, although we do switch up which location we go to, Newington seems to be the quickest to get to, so the one we frequent the most. The wait staff works hard and the food is usually good... The only dish I have been disappointed with is the Fried Clam strips - they have much better options here..."
