"The people there were super great. Wonderful attentive and answered questions I had about what was on offer easily. The decor was... fine and I have to say it was rather chilly inside. Surprisingly so, and my fries cooled fast as a result. Food was decent. About what I'd expect for a fast casual chain. The mushroom Swiss tasted good, and I like how they season their fries. All in all a decent place, if a bit more spendy than I'd like for the food given."
"Ordered ahead for 12pm and it was ready on the dot. Otis made a good burger. Compared to some other spots, I prefer mooyah burgers because no matter the toppings, they always seem to come out quicker, not too dry, but not overly greasy and drippy. Wish there was more locations in CT. Place is also strangely always empty which obviously makes things quicker."
"I have eaten here before with good experiences. Good food, good service. The last two times here have not been the same. I ordered some food for curbside. The email I received told me to call when I arrived. I attempted to call for about fifteen minutes. It would either ring indefinitely. Or someone would pick up and hang up. I eventually went inside to get my food, twenty minutes after it was supposed to be ready, as it was clear I was not going to get curbside service. When I went in everyone was busy and no one looked up or acknowledged me for some time I eventually called to get someone's attention that I had an order for curbside. I get it if you're busy and they were. But I feel like you could at least give me the courtesy of answering the bone and saying "hey, can you please hold" , or looking at me when I come in and just saying "hey, give me just one minute." The food was great, but service wasn't the same. Today I ordered food for delivery. Just a burger on a lettuce bun I had added bacon. The food came quickly. But I was disappointed when I looked at my burger and the bacon, I had paid extra for, was black. Just bummed because I like the menu options for a healthier burger, but not appreciating service or food at this time. I gave the atmosphere 5 stars as I have not eaten inside, but it looked clean when I went in for a pickup."
"We went to Mooyah in Newington on Fenn Road yesterday. It was our first time going here. It was pretty slow when we went so, we decided to dine in. The staff was friendly and patient as we were going over the food options. I found them to be informative as they answered our questions clearly and accurately. Burger prices here are pretty average. Definitely pricier than a fast-food place. I have no problem paying for a quality product; however, this was not so much the case here. The burgers seemed a little bit on the small side but were cooked well. We had mushroom Swiss burgers and I don't know why, but they were very salty. We also ordered French fries. They were not hot and unfortunately, the ketchup packets were leaky and so they were stuck together in a clump. I said something about it and was given some fresh, sealed packets to replace the first bunch with. I'm not a big fan of having sticky fingers. Not a big deal, stuff happens. The biggest issue here was the food. The milk shake was very thick. Anyway, I have had better, and I have had worse... Overall, in my opinion, the place was mediocre."
