"Small take-out place with three tables for dine-in. Lady at the counter gave excellent customer service and was very friendly. Food was good, came out quickly, and was reasonably priced. Bathroom was dirty."

"The woman who I assume was the owner, was so sweet, the wait wasn’t long, the food was amazing and not that expensive at all for the combo meal. Overall they seemed extremely grateful for each customer that came in and from what I observed from the other customers, remembered their previous order. Had an overall small family business feel and will definitely be going back."

The general Taos chicken was excellent I love the boneless ribs starting new year’s with the best Chinese food I try their chicken and garlic sauce combo wow amazing taste I love the vegetables with chicken in the garlic amazing.. their house special lo mein and pork lo mein is amazing. I try the pepper steak with onions with house special rice wow amazing I love it."

"It's been so long since I dined at New Taste of China. My goodness! It was better than ever. From the moment I walked in , it felt like everyone cared. The super busy cashier was stuffing bags, and giggling, so happy to see me. She told the guys In the back,in the kitchen, and they all stopped for 1 full second, and waved to me. I ordered the house lomein with everything. 2 shrimp rolls and a small order of hot sour soup. It took me all afternoon to finish, but it was the best Chinese food this side of China. Please do yourself a favor, and pull into the little plaza on new Britain ave....right next to Shield St. You will return over and over again!"

"surprising to see so many low reviews, though it seems to be from a previous owner by the look of the comments. I was in the area for a few days and really got to enjoy their food. Nice little place to stop by eat in or take out. I tend to buy a sprite or dr. pepper to pair it with anything aha. Its clean and neat inside. Everyone seems friendly and the one up front is really very attentive :). Can't wait to drop by when in the area again soon!"
