"I was excited to try this restaurant, we drove by it after hiking often, but it really wasn't good. We had breakfast, and an appetizer of spring rolls because it was close to lunch. We got there at 11:10, ordered and didn't get food until after 12. I'm fairly patient and there was only one waitress, but she didn't say a word to us about how long it was, never refilled coffee, water or acknowledged us waiting. Again, one person serving, not good experience but forgivable. The food was "meh." I got French toast and she asked if I wanted strawberries. I said not if they are frozen or canned, I hate the texture, and she said they were thin sliced fresh strawberries. It came slathered in mushed sugary sloppy strawberry which again after the whole conversation I had with her she didn't even acknowledge. I scraped it off and ate it anyway, not about to wait another hour. The spring rolls were just grocery store from a bag- they were good, nothing special or made there. Rest of food was fine, but there are better local restaurants for the time and money."

"I am a regular on Sunday mornings. Michelle and Kathleen are hospitable to say the least. Ask for them by name. . Indoor/outdoor seating options. Worth a drive if you are from New Milford/Waterbury area looking for something different in Litchfield County. Country setting with pub menu. Great for groups."

"Such a pleasant find! Stopped in for a quick bite and some drinks on a whim. Local winery was closed so we decided to stop in and check it out, so glad we did. Staff was excellent very COVID aware and followed all regulations. Drinks were amazing! Food was delicious, offering local ingredients and variety throughout the menu. Overall, we look forward to coming back and supporting a family owned local business! If you haven’t been you are missing out. Thank you for your hospitality and talents!"

"Quaint location and good food, glasses need to be dried, and a bit pricey. Excellent bartender and drink options. There are only 12 tables plus the bar so I suggest calling ahead."
