"Best Mexican food I've had in a very long time and it's in the middle of nowhere. I implore/behoove you to come here as soon as possible. I had the carnitas tacos and, unfortunately for me, I had to bring them home because of a previous VSG surgery but I need you to know that this is one of the very rare times I've wished I didn't have that surgery. I immediately ordered dinner from here for tonight and tomorrow. Their Al Pastor tacos and burritos are also stellar."

"This restaurant opened approximately in 2019, replacing the lot vacated by Railhead Jerk. There is another branch of Avocado Café in Millerton by the border to Connecticut. This branch in Amenia is cozy and brightly decorated. Friendly staff and credit/debit cards are accepted. There is an alfresco section when in season. The food is delicious, though there were no desserts during this review except churros at $6 for two with a scoop of ice cream."
