I don’t know if it was the main barber (most likely not) but this guy had no clue what he was doing, I had to point things out multiple times, not following directions etc. Unclear if he’s in training or not. Also not accepting cards in 2024. The only positive thing was getting an appointment short notice. Never again."

"First and last time I will go to this barber shop. I work in West Hartford and hadn't had a hair cut since before New years. I reached out to this shop to see if they do walk-ins. The person I spoke to said yes. Upon arriving the location was inviting and calm. Once sat in the chair, that's when the issues began. Now for some context. I have long hair with a bald undercut. And I have a beard. I requested that my sides and back be buzz cut up to my hair line and 5 inches of length be removed. Simple right? Wrong!!!. The "Barber" I was sat with conducted himself like he was just learning to cut hair. He didn't know how to approach it. It got to the point I had to instruct him how to hold the clippers so he could get as close to where my long hair begins. I became very uncomfortable. Then he proceeded to trim my beard and he ended up removing like 3 inches of length while covering my eyes with a towel. He was fumbling everywhere and knocking thinks over. By the time he was done I just wanted out of the shop. I asked how much and was floored when I was told $50 for such amateur work. When I finally got home I looked closer at what he had done. I was mortified. There were patches on my head, areas left uncut and my beard was misshaped and uneven. I had to end up fixing my beard to make it presentable for work and my wife had to fix my hair. I would not suggest going here unless it's the owner cutting you hair because the other guy should not be touching anyone's head."
