"I don't usually eat chocolate cookies, but this is the one you want to try and taste it. The chocolate is warmly melted in a crunch cookie; the best."
"We were out for a drive and staying nearby. This is a lovely place for dinner or lunch. Crowd was constant. It took a long while for our server to get to us. He instead seemed to gravitate to other tables that Sat after us. We felt invisible. A glass of wine, onion soup and croque monsieur were our selections and were perfect I must say. Ignoring the service we left happy. I’d go back. Maybe I need to be more demanding so my husband and I don’t go unnoticed. It’s a terrible feeling that shouldn’t happen. Le Gamin is a tremendous establishment tho. Lucky to be there in that Location. I just wish I could take them back to our town."
"Good. 4 stars for a cafe something different. 2 stars for service. 3 stars for overall. 4 stars for croissants. 4 stars for strength of espresso based drinks. Cafe look: casual. Big dogs not allowed? Small dogs some had with them and wasn’t a problem. One small bathroom fyi. Ordered coffee - waited - went to front and asked about coffee and waters. Waited. Went back after 15 min. Did finally get the coffees and water. 30 min for that. Croissants $5 cafe’ $4 crepes $7 to $15. Had two espressos, herb omelet no cheese came with it. Two croissants. Salmon omelet. Nutella crepe. $70 + 30% tip $100 for the above. For the locals it’s fine. Just too expensive - not young child friendly."
"Food was amazing, service was friendly, and for an added bonus the patio is dog friendly. We stopped in on a whim and loved it so much we made sure to come back the next day before we left. It is a definitey worthy of a destination trip to eat."
"I really wanted to like this warm, quaint restaurant but the food was plain awful. My onion soup had half an inch of oil layered on top. It was not edible. The croque monsieur looked great but was actually cold inside. Same for the tart which tasted like it was never cooked. Not appetizing at all. It was a disappointment to come in on a cold day to be served this food. Even the wonderful staff does not make up for the food."
