Supercuts

"Last week I took my 4 yr old for a haircut after school. His hair had gotten long, so before school I styled his hair with gel to keep it out of his eyes. When I brought him in to get his hair cut with Frank, he started lecturing me on the use of gel, and used his comb to pull on my child's hair aggressively to break it up, rather than spray it with water to soften it up, or just take him to a sink to wash it out. He just remained irritated and kept going off about how I should never use gel, while forcefully combing through my son's hair while my kid repeatedly said "ow", and mid-lecture said "next time you won't be lucky and get someone as gentle-handed as me" (direct quote). Towards THE END he finally sprayed water and guess what? The gel softened up immediately and my kid said "thats better and doesn't hurt anymore". I usually take my kids to J. Leon in danbury, where Joffre, the owner, has ALWAYS been gentle and kind, and this was my first time using supercuts because there wasn't availability at my usual spot and my son was overdue for a haircut. My 4 yr old has been telling everyone he sees for a week now "i got a haircut and he was too rough and hurt my head." I will never go back, and when my friends ask for recommendations for their kids, will let them know to avoid supercuts."

"I never write a review. But today was very disappointing. I went to get my hair cut. It literally was 10 min or less maybe 6 cuts. I explained what i wanted but its no different just an inch at most shorter. This was supposed to be the same hair cut my hair is thick and usually takes 30 min or more. I felt rushed like the person was not into doing my hair. I have been going there for about 3 years never upset. Im not going back."
