"2 bad move-in experiences - one when we moved in initially and the other when transferring units. Packages have been going missing lately. Dog park is a garden bed across the street. Everyone is charged $200 for the gym fee instead of those who actually want to use it. The gym is an amenity that should be included at no cost anyway. We pay almost $2,000 per month for a studio apartment. Parking is $100 per car per month and it is shared with other businesses. With paying for parking like that there should be assigned spaces so residents get premium parking, not everyone is paying what residents pay to park in the garage. The historic building is significantly better than the new apartments. The new apartments were made cheaply and are way overpriced. On one side your view is a parking lot across the street and the other you are looking at the apartments across from you. The Pennet up the road has views of Dunkin Park and has twice the amenities for slightly more money, I’d recommend going there if you cannot get into the historic building. The only complaint about the historic building is the flooring is outdated carpeting and mismatched tiles on some of the floors, while others have newer flooring and paint. My studio apartment has carpeting in all but the kitchen and bathroom while other units have hardwoods, no price reduction for the outdated flooring and kitchen. Our washer is too small to wash anything bigger than a throw blanket, so despite paying for a unit with a washer and dryer we still have to go to a laundry mat to wash our bedding. Too many little things that equal big frustration."
"I lived here for about a year! Staff is awesome and maintenance people are very nice and are always there when you need them. If you’re comfortable with living with three people in the one bedroom apartments then that’s cool but if you’re not please don’t do it. They allow any ages in those apartments and I think it should be primarily for grad students. They also don’t care about safety for roommates so be careful who you room with and please ask questions before you move in. Only for the one room. Good luck ✌️"
"We live on a new side that is just finished. Apartment is nice but that's it. Building was made really cheap, and we on the 1st floor, can hear all the noise that is coming from the garage underneath us. Every time someone leaves or enters the garage, we can hear it. There is no any noise blocker or anything to help with that. False advertisement about the DOG PARK is the worse. It's a side walk on the street that they call dog park, it's ridiculous. Also, they had a picture of community room with pool table that also does not exist. When we tried to accuse them for false advertisement, they removed it from their page. Location is in downtown so their is always noise coming from the outside. Now, a bunch of college kids moved in and this place is getting trashed everyday and more loud. Windows are leaking in our bedroom when it's raining a lot, so another proof that everything is done really cheap but their prices are not cheap and they are going up. Now on top of everything, they have a problem with theft in the garage, someone is stealing peoples belongings from their vehicles."
"I lived here for over a year and a half. I have nothing but the best things to say about this property and the apartment property managers. Everyone does so much and goes above and beyond to support the residents and they make it feel like home. Each month they do something special for the residents whether that is a Christmas door contest or a Halloween pumpkin carving contest. They truly engage the residents. The complex is expanding so much like opening up a gym and a patio roof top. I absolutely loved living here! All of my apartment fixes were done immediately within the day and the maintenance crew is so kind! Nothing but the best things to say about Sage Allen!"
"My husband and I have lived in The Lofts at Main and Temple for almost a year and can’t even begin to describe the incredible experience we’ve had here. The property managers, Janel and Amanda have been so kind and welcoming since the first day we sparked interest in moving into this location and made our move-in process extremely seamless and easy. All of the staff is extremely friendly and the building is so spacious, peaceful and safe. Janel and Amanda truly make us feel like we are at home with their warm and caring personalities, and we absolutely love where we live. I recommend anyone looking to move downtown Hartford to check out this location first, you will never want to leave."
