"They'll steal the money right out of your pocket and the food out of your mouth don't do it. I was a Tennant a couple years back and they are legally coming after me for rent that was charged after I left the building. Then they cop out and place a statement on Google for you to see saying that I was never there to try and save face. I am disabled and they are garnishing my minimum wage check every week. I can't always eat a meal now because some Midcon Partner sitting at a desk feels that my hard earned money belongs to him. All because I needed to leave early after suffering major trauma. I paid them their rent they were due and they kept charging for the room and using the power in the room charging it to my CLP after I disconnected it. They will steal the money right out of your pockets."
"Renters Beware!!!!! Some of the prior reviews mentioned some of these things as well and they are absolutely right! I am a prior tenant, and this was by far the worst place I have ever lived and I had many apartments even in Hartford! Police are there a lot. Neighbors are loud and have fights. They have more cars than parking spots, many many times I had to park in the front lot and my apartment was in the 4th lot in the back in the middle of winter! To top all that off, the maintenance workers stole from my apartment when I wasn't home!!! They took a few items from my bedroom and also multiple pieces of jewelry!! I even had to file a police report. The washers and dryers hardly ever work and are constantly broken. The parents allow the children to run around in the parking lots. Very loud as well and over crowded too. Walls extremely, extremely thin, so if you like quiet, this is not the place. It almost reminds me of an inner New York city ghetto project. There are drug dealers who live here as well. Loud music blasted in parking lots 2am, 3am. Notice they only respond to the positive reviews lol. Laundry room extremely dirty."
"My husband and I were loyal tenants for 3 years and when it came time for us to move the woman in the office was so incredibly rude it made us question why we stayed so long. The windows and back door are so old and warped that heat escapes all winter and frost grows on the inside of your walls! Inside!!!! Our heating bill was average 300-350$ A month all winter long and we kept it at 65 degrees. We froze in our own home. Mold grew on the window sills and bathroom ceiling. Cops are constantly being called for domestic issues in the lower lot. We were woken up often at 3am by speeding cars blasting rap music through the parking lots. Many people who live here are inconsiderate of their neighbors. I get it, the rent is cheap!! But the amount you pay in electricity will even out to a more expensive apartment with better windows. No one is ever in the office and when you call maintenance for minor issues they never call you back. We didn’t get our back sliding door fixed until we threatened to call the fire marshal because we couldn’t open it and it was, at that point, a fire hazard. The staff they hire to “lifeguard” the pool in the summer often let their friends in who don’t even live in the complex. I know this because I’ve watched people drive in and park in a completely different part of the lot and walk over to the pool. Live where you are respected."
"We lived here for a couple years. There were a few minor issues such as fights in the parking lot, and my husband never having a parking spot when he came home from work. My major issue was with the mold and basically snow coming into our windows and slider in the winter. We complained multiple times about this and was told by maintenance nothing would be done about the mold. They offered to cover our windows and DOOR with plastic. Ya because we all want plastic on our door. The walls in the bathroom were so soft that we could not even hang a towel rack. All windows, doors and entire bathroom had to be cleaned almost daily to keep mold away. We even switched apartment in hopes that there would be less mold in a different apartment, well it was worse! So my husband and I began looking for another place to live. During this time I was pregnant and when my child was born he was in the ICU with lung problems. I was paranoid about him sleeping in a place filled with mold so we really became serious about getting out and found a great place for our family. We talked to Sheryl in the office and she assured us we could break our lease and she pulls out a list of people who are waiting for first floor apartments. She even told us she grew up in the area we were moving too and we will love it there. So we moved a coujple weeks later and now they want our deposit from a place we were in a month and had NO damage and rent for a month we were not living there and they took us to court. They won because we failed to call the heath department. We even had pictures of the mold and snow inside the windows. Just don t do it, you won't be happy. I didn't even want to give it one star View Less"
"We have lived here for over two years. For the rent we pay, we are happy with our 2BR apartment. It's not as nice as some other complexes on the road, but the rent isn't as high either. Our neighbors have all been relatively quiet and we haven't had any issues with excessive noise despite the walls being very thin. If you are considering moving in, keep in mind: The 2BR apartments have one single (very loud) window-unit type AC in the living room which isn't optimal as the two bedrooms will always be warmer. The leasing office is hard to get hold of. Even calling during business hours, nobody will answer. You must go in person and even then you may have to wait if the staff is showing an apartment. The maintenance office is the same way. Nobody will ever answer, but whenever we have left a message the issue was fixed that same day. Overall maintenance has been good and very quick to respond. The window frames are metal. In the winter this causes condensation (and even ice on very cold nights) to build up which eventually leads to mold if not cleaned regularly. It also doesn't help with the (electric) heat bill."
