Rivers Bend Apartments

"UPDATE: I've been here for almost a year and still quite enjoy it. The unit I have hasn't had many other issues. There was a change in property management eff the New Year, so I can't speak to that as of yet. Front gate gets broken often and isn't fixed for a while. First snowstorm took a while for my area to get cleared. I work from home so it wasn't a big deal for me. Hoping rent won't go up much (or at all) once my lease is through, so we'll see. Overall, I've enjoyed it here and would like to stay. ORIGINAL from 4/2023: 4 star review so far! Kylie was absolutely wonderful about answering any questions and concerns I had when it came to deciding if I should move here or not. I saw several negative reviews during my search for and instead of cancelling my appointment, I asked Kylie about them. I eventually decided to give it a go and I'm glad I did. I had a list of concerns upon moving in and everything was fixed/resolved/replaced within a month. The longest item was the new sliding door as they had to order it. All of the maintenance techs that came through were polite and professional. The fitness center, clubhouse, laundry facilities are all clean and well-maintained. It's nice having a pool, river walk, and access to the river, although it's still a bit cold to fully utilize them. The unit is quiet and it really feels more like condo living with the added benefits of being apartment managed. I've been here for almost 2 months and have been enjoying my new home. I will update this review a little later on once I have more time under my belt."

"Never wants to fix the water fountain in the River Bends House, it’s been over a year of not having any water. Mainly when i’m thirsty after working out it’s super inconvenient not to have it working when it used to be perfectly fine before."

"Probably the one and only good review I have regarding anything at River's Bend. Kevin came to fix one of the multiple issues in my unit (after having a different person come multiple times) and was incredibly diligent at fixing the issue and also helping me find and seal a possible area where mice keep come into my unit. He was responsible (which a lot of employees at River's Bend lack this quality), he was respectful and very polite. A person I felt secure having inside. Great job Kevin!"

"Maintenance is lazy and the worst. They told residents we had to stop using our AC this week as they were putting the old AC covers on the outside. The 2nd floor is still hot and the windows do not open because they’re old and management won’t replace. I asked them not to put my 2nd floor cover on as I cannot open my windows. Lauren Wheelers response, “ Per your request we will not put an AC cover on your second floor but will not be coming back to put one on for the rest of the season. Any requests to place one on later in the season will not be responded to.” Lauren and the other employees here should be fired. They play games and ride around on golf carts all day blocking the streets, doing nothing. I recommend everyone that lives here take legal action if you’re treated the same. Based on other reviews, I am not alone!"

"Stayed here for almost 3 years. Tried to summarise pretty much everything below. Added few points to my old review on today-18 Aug 2020 (both in Pros & Cons). Pros: If you love Nature you can’t beat this place. Peaceful and calm. You can go for a walk in the evening to the riverside or park area for re-creation. Rent is on little higher side, but surrounded by greenaries. Super market & gas station & few restaurants are in walking distance. If you leave the apartment clean, they will refund the security deposit. Cons: Not pro active on services towards residents compalints. Very uncleaned laundry - with pets hair in the washers. Poor Air conditioning (in not newly renovated apartments). No security in Shay street area as it falls outside gating community (someone tried to break in at our apartment - post which we decied to move out)."
