"They are dark and dreary, way too expensive for the size. Management is excellent though."
"Definitely was a great place to stay. Rent was fair and the space given was good. Would recommend"
"I have only been here a little over a month now but so far so good."
"My wife and I have been here for over ten years now and we're very happy here. The buildings and grounds are always kept up and the onsite manager is extremely proficient and lives right here in the apartments. All maintenance issues are handled promptly and professionally, and many of the units have all new appliances. There is ample parking and a limited number of garages. I think this is definitely one of the best rental opportunities available in the area today. I know that the owners have pride of ownership and it shows in the way everything is maintained. We're so glad we found this place!"
"THE GOOD Compared to other apartments in the area this place is probably one of the better choices. The location is more secluded with lot's of trees and not many other businesses in the direct vicinity. Road noise is non existent as the apartments are above the elevation of the road. The layout is nice, the apartment feels bigger than it really is. The apartments do show their age but major maintenance is done. The exterior is pleasant, in ours we have appliances from the 90s but overall everything is pretty good inside. I'm sure each apartment varies a bit. Heat and Hot water included which is great, we did get a storage space and you can also request a garage but I'm unsure if there is a charge for that. The few times we needed something fixed they did it without question and promptly. The on site manager is pleasant. Some of the basements have laundry machines. Hot water baseboard heat which I like and 1 in wall A/C which is OK. THE BAD - 1 parking spot per apartment! If you're the 2nd person home good luck getting one of the scarce visitor spots, most likely you'll be parking in the far far back which is a nice walk when you live by the road, not so bad when you live towards the back. The mail is in the front so if you are in the back you have to walk to the front for that. So you're going to walk not matter where you are. - Sound deadening/proofing must not even exist here. I'm on a 1st floor unit, the people upstairs have what must be a 2 or 3 yr old that runs back and forth back and forth ALL DAY LONG. It could be a weekday, weekend, holiday... doesn't matter, 7:00am to 11:00pm if the kid isn't running back and forth the parents are and if they aren't their animal is. It's TERRIBLE. If i wasn't leaving in the next month I'd be smashing on the ceiling every 10min. But that'd be a bad idea because I'd probably just punch through what must be a 1/16th" of dividing material between the apartments. Unless you get lucky and have some old people upstairs in their chair all day just getting up for the occasional sponge bath and diaper change you're screwed. Get a 2nd floor apartment here. Expect to get yelled at by the people under you for just sneezing tho because I can hear everything they do and it annoys the crap out of me. - Snow removal - Overall it's OK. It get's done. But if you have 2WD and tires w/ half life or less, good luck getting up that entrance. Don't think you'll be clever and go in the exit either because that's even worse. Me? I'm fine, I have snow tires. My gf? Well her and half the other tenants roll back and forth into the road trying to get momentum to make it in. Can't tell you how many people I've pushed up the hill and have had to dump the supplied sand bucket across the entrance because it hasn't been plowed for 12 hours. PS don't forget to move your car when the plow trucks DO finally come... they need to get your spot! and management will make sure to knock on your door 20 times and ring the bell 10 more times until you get up! So then go move your car to the non existent 2nd spot that you have. Good luck. - There is only 1 in wall A/C in the main room which is mostly adequate but the two bedrooms will definitely be a few degrees warmer. Forget about it if you close one of the doors tho. The windows are horizontally sliding so you can't add another A/C unless you did some custom work which they might not appreciate. Personally if I ever rent again I'll be looking for a single family home or a well sound deadened duplex/condo. In the end it's just the noise from the upstairs tenants that turns me off from this place. Everything else is good. Oh, and if ANY of the tenants/guests let the outside door slam or go up/down the stairs you'll know it."
