"This review is way overdue, but 5 stars all around for their doctors, medical, and front office staff who have always been here for me and my animals! They've always welcomed me in, and treated all of my cats with compassion, especially in emergency situations (and even when I've brought my stray cats in for injury treatment), and consideration - trying to make any care needed as affordable as possible. Most recently, I brought one of my older cats in, who had a terrible reaction to a ringworm medication, leading to liver issues. He needed to be hospitalized for several days - while at VEG, he received around the clock care from their medical staff, who monitored him, checked his vitals and liver values daily, did additional diagnostic testing to rule out other causes, and administered oral and IV medication and treatment to him. I was also super appreciative of them letting me visit as often as I wanted (and at any time! 24/7 visiting hours). So thankful to them for saving his life! 6 months later, he's bounced back and doing amazingly well. Including 1 picture during his time at VEG, and a more recent one of him enjoying the holidays in good health. Thank you VEG Paramus! You guys are truly the best."

"Took me a while to be able to write this post, but I finally am able to respond to the quality care this veterinary practice gave my pet. She had been diagnosed with a bone cancer, when I saw that it was time-I brought her here as she was having difficulty breathing. I told myself i didn’t want her to continue suffering or put her through more procedures as even the minor tests at my regular vet caused her a great deal of pain. Here I was met with welcoming and comforting staff. I was already distraught upon arrival, honestly walked outside debating if I was ready to let my best friend go. They were with us through the whole process and kept me informed on everything they did. Even when speaking with the Veterinarian about the quality of life she had, they never made me feel guilty or forced, they told me the facts only and were very sensitive to the situation. The technicians and assistants even offered my baby chocolate before she was euthanized to give her some happy feelings and tastes she would’ve otherwise never had. I appreciate how kind and loving the staff was to her, she was a very affectionate dog. The staff was very understanding and answered every single question we had regarding the process. Even when she first came here months before when everyone thought she had a muscle sprain, the staff treated her so kind and loving despite all the negative attention people usually give to her breed. After more research at our regular vet, we came to find what a horrible disease she actually had, such a shame. I recommend this place to anyone that has a pet emergency and needs someone to trust;this clinic is exceptional and the staff are all knowledgeable and compassionate about what they do. As sad as the visit was I appreciate all the help and guidance they have given, during and after. Thank you for making what was a hard,painful situation a little easier for me and my family without any judgement. Thank you so much for being there for me and my family. Attached is the patient you helped cross the rainbow bridge. Thank you again for freeing me and my family from the emotional and mental battle we were in and her from the bodily disease that kept her chained, now I know she is free and running in the fields like she loved to do. "I don't even know where to begin, but we brought in my exotic pet (Rabbit) last night for Emergency care, they usually only see Dogs and Cats and they saw her immediately, with no hesitation and care and comfort to me and my animal the ENTIRE night! Mike and the doctor I forgot her name were outstanding! If I knew the name of the rest of the staff I would call them all out! These people are angels! I hope this place always stays like this! More places should have the bed side manner this place displays!"

"The secret is out! If your pet needs emergency care, this is the place. Small, friendly and inclusive! My 4 month old puppy fell and broke her leg. My anxiety and nerves were through the roof. I was scared, tired and hurting for my little girl. We started at Oradell. It was a 5 hour wait for emergency: forget it, I called VEG, they had no wait, and we went right over. When the name of your Vet is Peace, your anxiety is already down. Peace, Bruce and team took amazing care of Mocha. Pets and owners are together through everything, even during x-rays. They don’t take your pet away from you and ask you to wait. You are a part of the care team. Reducing a pets and pet parents anxiety is essential and their priority. Their communication and continuous updates was more than I could ask for. I knew Mocha was in the best hands. Thank you team. We are thankful for the care and compassion you provided us, and the after care with my calls. You deserve 10 stars ⭐️"
