"I’ve been getting my nails done for a little over 25 years, when I say Yen is by far the best nail tech I have ever had an experience with I’m not even kidding. My nails are hard to deal with as they break easily and I’m allergic to acrylic but she listened to everything I needed and did exactly what I asked for. I work local to Holly Nails but live an hour away, Yen has a forever loyal customer in me. The salon was very clean and everyone there was very friendly. I will definitely recommend Holly Nails to all the family and friends. The price can’t be beat either. Thank you Yen and staff"

"I had to delete my past review of this place because my experience last time was very disappointing. I made an appointment for 5 pm to get a gel manicure. I arrive and the place is packed and everyone is working on people. I end up waiting close to 15 minutes after my appointment started until someone came over to me to start on my nails. Lots of friends have said similar things have happened to them here. Where they make an appointment but then their appointment isn’t held up to their selected time because they overbooked people. The girl who normally does gel nails didn’t come over but a girl who I had never seen do gel nails. The owner of the salon came over to check on her throughout my appointment which made me realize this girl had either only done gel nails once or never before on an actual customer. It is a week later and my nails are breaking and chipping. See pics below. The reason they are breaking is because the girl buffed my nails down to a thin strip and put gel over it. I tried to tell her to stop but she kept buffing them down because there was a language barrier and she didn’t understand me when I said “you can stop that is fine”. I completely understand people needing to learn. But to do nails on a paying customer with someone who is obviously new and not familiar with gel nails is not fair to the customer OR the worker who is trying to learn. All in all, I will no longer be coming back here and will be going back to my old place in Brookfield because it is worth the 30 min drive knowing my nails will be kept in good health."
