Happy Nails

"I’ve now given this place numerous attempts. Both times I’ve gotten my nails done by day 2 it looked like I needed a fill. I’m now rocking 1990s paper thin eye brows. I had beautiful eyebrows that needed minimal work for a shape up. Don’t recommend. And every time I’ve gone the prices are different. Now I look ridiculous and it’s going to take months for my eyebrows to grow back IF they grow back."

"I’ve gone here a few times and usually have great service; except tonight. The woman doing my nails was very rude and seemed aggravated at just about everything. At one point I realized that I wanted my nails to be shorter and politely asked her if it was possible to cut them down, to which she responded by scolding me like a child saying I should have said something earlier. I said to forget it if it’s too much trouble, to which she ignored me again and continued to aggressively file my nails. She ended up shortening them, which took about 3 extra minutes. The woman just seemed angry the entire time; she ignored me the few times that I asked a question or said thank you, and was quite rude when she would talk to me. I left a tip because she did do a good job with my nails, and because it’s the holidays. But the service tonight was just plain bad. Customers should not feel uncomfortable or nervous to ask for what they want. I will say that there is a woman there who is always very lovely and inviting, I think she is the owner."

"I've had gel nails for several years and was looking for a new salon. Went here and asked for a gel refill with black tips. Towards the end before painting the tips, she applied a polish that was "pink to clear". I noticed my nails looked extremely pink. I politely asked if the pink would dry clear. I asked because it seemed very pink compared to the dozens of other gel fills I've had elsewhere. She flipped like a light switch and lost her cool. She went from happy and friendly to raising her voice, slamming things down, and clearly spoke about the pink to the other technicians for 5 minutes (I could only make out the word pink). She aggressively sanded my nails down and reapplied the same polish and another person asked if it was better. At this point I was so embarrassed as everyone in the salon was looking at me and my technician was clearly aggravated that I asked about it. I said it was fine, finished the service and left. $45 for me to have pink nails with black tips and a humiliating experience. I went to a family event this weekend and multiple people asked why I went with pink nails and black tips. I wanted to love this place but if I'm paying for a service, I should be able to ask about the work being done without being berated. 0/5"

"I needed to find a new nail salon and fast! The business is clean and bright and the staff was wonderful. Na gave me a pedicure that left me feeling like I was walking on air and was very sweet and so was Yen, the owner. I will definitely be coming back!"

"Switched to HAPPY Nails and I'm much HAPPIER! I see Yen, the owner, and she does a great job. She is EXTREMELY gentle, thorough, neat and meticulous, very kind, patient and soft spoken. THE MOST IMPORTANT REASON:(besides her talent) CLEANLINESS! They are very clean, using disposable PPE for each customer. Including handwashing. I really appreciate that, especially these days!"
