"My long time barber retired recently, so it was time for a change. Haircuts Plus was recommended by a neighbor of mine, so I decided to see what they could do with an old guy's balding, graying mop. Score one for the old, bald, graying guy! I went on a Tuesday, not knowing that Tuesdays are "men's day" here. Actually men can go any day, but often feel awkward with all those women chatting about, what else? Their husbands! Anyway, upon entering, I was met with a friendly greeting by Jane, the salon owner. Being a first timer here, she gave me the grand tour of the very nice, clean, well organized shop. Separate rooms from the area where the styling happens are the rooms for coloring hair, waxing, and a nice little kitchen area for her and her employees. Jane directed me to a seat in the salon area, asked me what I wanted done with my hair, and in about ten minutes she was done! One small change that she cheerfully and quickly did, and I was done. Not only was I happier with the haircut I got here than at my previous barber shop, but they charge $4.00 LESS than my other barber charged WITH a senior discount! I'll be returning regularly to get my hair (what little there is) "styled", and I use that term very loosely."
