The Inn at Pound Ridge by Jean-Georges

"Editing my review after about a year. First trip was in March of 2023, it was a great time with a wonderful atmosphere and really good food. Fast forward to about a year later and the wife and I went for our anniversary and wow! Has this place fallen off a cliff, I had the parmesan crusted chicken which was downright inedible - it was unevenly cooked and just tasted awful. Everything else was pretty ordinary, but one thing that stood out to me was how run down the entire experience felt, our quarter plates were chipped (perhaps that's what they are going for, but it looked like they get their china from Goodwill), only 50% of the string lights were working. The service was good and our server was attentive and looked liked she cared for our dining experience, wish I could say the same for the Kitchen staff."

"A perfect place to celebrate a special occasion. The vibe is relaxed, casually elegant. Service was top notch, and the food delivering the perfection between new to your mouth flavors and the best prepared comfort food. The modern farmhouse embodied. From the outside as you pull up to valet parking, you can’t tell what’s inside but you get the feeling it’s going to be special. The Inn At Pound Ridge is a good place to find yourself."

"I came to enjoy a birthday dinner for my good friend. It was her first time going there and my second. She was immediately impressed with the atmosphere. We were really excited to try everything on the menu. We ordered fried calamari and burrata as an app. We also ordered the pizza which is delicious. I highly recommend getting any pizza they all look good. I think ordered the salmon and she ordered the chicken. Both were delicious. We cleaned the plates. Overall it was a bit pricey but i believe it’s because of the name of the place. I would definitely come back for another occasion."

"We passed by this place many times and finally got to try the food. We also had dinner at Jean Georges in NYC before and this one at this location did not disappoint. They have valet parking which is very convenient. The firewood smell was very pleasant when we arrived here. We enjoyed the food and drink very much, especially the salmon sushi, roasted beets and butternut squash soup. My husband is extremely good at cooking steaks and many places we went to don’t do as good job as him. The beef tenderloin was very good here. The service was great and quick. The place is spacious. The price is reasonable for the quality of food and service. Highly recommend!"
