Dr. Philip Coniglio

"If you have a child and they need dental work... this is the man to see: "Dr. C" (Coniglio) at the Suffolk Pediatric Dentistry. They have multiple offices, and he works at all of them. Though Sayville is our preferred location. He is without a doubt the best. He is really wonderful with kids. He makes them feel comfortable, and makes them laugh, and really helps ease any anxiety they might feel being at the dentist. Dr. C. is very smiley, and he's happy to hear concerns from parents, and answer whatever questions you have. He doesn't rush through any work, but doesn't take forever to get it done either. Most importantly he does whatever he possibly can to make sure your child has a comfortable and pain free experience. I really can't recommend him enough.. And I know I risk crowding the office with future patients when saying this, but as a mother I feel obligated to. My 8 year old needed to have a tooth (with a lot of root) pulled just yesterday. She sat in the chair, got some silly gas, got some novocain and Dr.C left the room for a few minutes. When he returned my daughter began to figit a bit knowing what was to come. He spoke clearly and calmly to her, explaining the process in a friendly and non threatening way.. and he began to work. Like a minute later (literally) he was finished and pulling up the chair. My daughter asked "What's happening?"... "We're all done" he said... and she replies "That's it?! Wow, that was easy!" It was such relief to hear her say this. Years ago (long before we knew about suffolk pediatric dentistry) my daughter (then 4) had work done with a different dentist that provided a nightmare of an experience... we knew then we wouldn't return to that office, but we also knew she would need a dentist in the future. I've read through thousands of reviews since then: Trying to find the best. And I'm confident that at this point we have. We've been to see Dr.C a few times now and whenever we leave the office my daughter is smiling and happy to go back. Thank you Dr.C, and to all the staff for making visits to the dentist a pleasure!"

"We just had oral surgery for my 11 year old autistic son. We had to go to St Charles OR. DR C is so great and caring. I felt completely at ease with him Krista the Surgical coordinator is a gem. We had an issue with his medical clearance and she was instrumental in helping us get what we needed. She even checked in with me over the weekend to make sure we got what we needed."
