"I have been going to Tokyo on Cooley Street for more than ten years. However, at this point I won't be returning. The food quality has dropped so severely that it is no longer worth my money. About a year ago, they changed the recipe of something that I really liked and I stopped ordering that menu item. Disappointing, but not something that would warrant a negative review. A few months ago, I ordered a hibachi scallop dinner but the scallops were bad. They smelled and tasted fishy. After a conversation with the manger, they removed the item from the bill. Hey, it happens. Recently, I ordered takeout--a few sushi rolls for me and my husband. The sushi had almost no fish in it; I ordered a sushi with shrimp and there wasn't a whole shrimp in all six pieces combined. My husband's eel roll was the same. Also, the fish smelled and tasted fishy. The rolls were inedible. It was an overall negative experience and disappointing because I used to love this place and it was my go-to for sushi in the neighborhood."

"This is my favorite place for Asian style cuisines. I live over half an hour away, but still remain loyal to my favorite restaurant, because they never disappoint. The drinks and food are all phenomenal. So glad I discovered this hidden gem!"

"The hibachi here is SO fun and SO delicious! We had a great time watching our chef and entertainment for the night. Our server, Felix, took awesome care of us before the show. The hibachi entree is a bit large so consider sharing or being ready to take some home! Best hibachi in Springfield!"
