"I had an excellent experience here. My dog needed stitches and they took her in very quickly, took incredible care of her and it cost less than I expected. The staff was very pleasant and the vet made sure to keep me updated on everything throughout. Can’t recommend this place enough."
"Pieper is well know in CT for its outstanding care. In fact, they were recommended to me. But I guess bad is good when there is nothing good around for comparison. I am here to tell you that the ER department is a mess. Plan on waiting 8 hours before you get seen and plan on a crazy bill! They literally did nothing and charged over $800! The special care surgery center and people are great, but times were out of control because they share surgical rooms with the ER. Dropped the dog off at 7am for a 1 hour procedure. Didn't hear from anyone until after 5pm that day, that she was finally getting out of surgery. She had to spend the night to be monitored. Just another cost to me. I have been around the country and think that the northeast needs to learn time management and triage skills."
